I'm wondering today how much more concrete the earth can take. Are there children who have never felt the soft grass under their bare feet, felt the blades tickle between their toes? There's a deadness to concrete, so unlike a lush green tree.
How far will we move from the natural world before we suffocate fully from lack of inspiration, expansiveness and creativity? Nature teaches us how to breathe and open up. How to die and hibernate. How to grow. We're no longer listening. The ocean cleanses us. We've lost our spirit, we no longer believe in the gods and goddesses of sun, wine, moon, thunder, music, healing.
Believe just for today. Believe.
